I enjoyed brisket here. The price is a bit much. However, the atmosphere was nice inside and there were three different BBQ sauces to try.
The beef ribs are scrumptious, the mac n cheese is heavenly and i loved the beans too! Man, the baked potatoes were loaded up and bigger than your head! Worth the stop in Houston, even during heavy traffic! I'll be thinking about the bbq here for years, thanks for the delicious memories
If your not on a budget for a great burger. This is the best one out there hands down. I've had many burgers in Houston and none can ever compare the originality of this one. With some ranch for sauce or dip. You can never go wrong with this one. Huge for a regular cheese burger.
We had an amazing experience at Papa's BBQ! From the moment we walked in, Tavares, the manager, made us feel so welcome with his friendly and attentive service. Doris, the meat cutter, was incredible—she prepared everything perfectly and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. The food was absolutely delicious, with tender, flavorful meats and all the fixings. The kids had a fantastic time, and it’s clear that this is a family-friendly place where everyone can relax and enjoy themselves. Thank you, Tavares and Doris, for making our visit so memorable! We’ll definitely be coming back soon.
Went in for take out it seamed kind of slow at the time. There was a bit of a like for the registers but it went by smoothly. While waiting for the food to be ready there was 2 young girl employees who were there behind the glass talking (loudly) about how dry, old and gross the food in the front was. The food I had received was great it was just hearing that from the employees was a bit worrisome.
My go to BBQ standby in Houston. Never been disappointed at this location. Brisket poorboy was excellent and the service very friendly and efficient.
Ok these are not the best pictures however the food was amazing as always. And I always forget to take pictures. The cake was super amazing, the extra pecans compliments of me. Also the salads are indescribable but good lol. I also added bacon bits to the salad. The salad and Po boy 2 meat brisket sausage, are my favorite. I must remember to get a photo the next time.
This place is a MUST for BBQ lovers in Houston! Everything was phenomenal, from the unreal food to the amazing service. Maggie made our experience extra special – she's a gem! Seriously, I highly recommend this place. You'll love it and definitely want to come back.
